Rooted in a tradition of care and compassion, CORA was established in 1971 as a non-profit, community based social services, educational and youth development agency providing a broad range of psycho-educational services to more than 20,000 children and their families each year. CORA, which stands for Counseling Or Referral Assistance, is a private, nonprofit, community based organization, whose programs and services are available to all.
