Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center provides professional education, and is located in Altoona, Pa. It offers a wide range of courses that include heavy-duty vehicle maintenance; collision repair and refinishing technology; digital printing technologies; electrical trades, food production; interior decorating and finishing; multimedia and Web design; precision machining and welding technology. It also offers adult programs that include software specialist, medical assistant, medical office secretary, culinary arts, dental assisting and computer repair technology. It offers various certifications, such as Automotive Technician Training Certification Program, American Welding Society, National Institute for Manufacturing Skills, and Refrigeration Service Engineers Society.
