History
Kellijane was founded because co-owner Kelly Monk Reed could not find bedding that she liked in Philadelphia. If she was having this trouble, she figured others felt the same way. She decided to take advantage of her retail experience to open a linens and accessories store in Old City. After 5 years there, she made the move to a former gallery space in a Victorian brownstone off of Rittenhouse Square in 2005. In 2006, she partnered with Pamela Diaconis, a marketing consultant with a 20 year background in home furnishings. Kellijane offers a wide variety of the finest bed, bath, and table linens in the area. Most lines are made in Europe, although many are assembled in the US using European materials. Products include sheets, blankets, coverlets, comforters, pillows, throws, towels, robes, table cloths, napkins, placemats, decorative pillows, accessories, window treatments, and eco-friendly items. Kellijane also offers bridal registry and design services.
