The Mercer County Behavioral Health Commission is a non-profit organization that assists individuals and families experiencing substance abuse, mental illness, or developmental challenges through the administration, coordination, and delivery of a service system committed to promoting recovery and improving the quality of life of those served. The MCBHC is a private, non-profit organization that assists persons with drug and alcohol, mental health, and mental retardation needs through the administration, coordination, and delivery of a service system committed to improving the quality of life of those served. MCBHC's Case Management Services provide needs assessments, service planning, linkage to community supports and resources, service coordination and monitoring for individuals. Case management services are voluntary. Service planning builds on the strengths of the individual with the overall goal of improving the client's independence in daily living.
