History
Riverbend Birth (formerly Hero Birth Services) was founded in 2014 by Marlee and Megan Malone-Franklin. Since we began working with families, we have expanded to offer wraparound support services for pregnancy, birth, and beyond, including birth doula support, childbirth classes, postpartum doula support, lactation counseling, and more. Serving families with diverse backgrounds and values, we pride ourselves on offering individualized care for each client. From classes during pregnancy, to continuous labor support during birth, to in-home care and support after baby arrives, we tailor our offerings to each family to help meet their unique needs. While we love serving families on all walks toward parenthood, we have a particular passion for working with 1) parents birthing in a hospital environment who want to have a supported, whole-person experience, 2) parents who've had a long or difficult fertility journey, and 3) parents whose pregnancies are high-risk.
