Youth Advocate Programs is a nonprofit organization that employs more than 2,000 individuals and operates over 125 programs in approximately 15 states in the United States. The organization serves various areas, including Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Texas. It serves more than 10,000 youths and families and child and economic welfare systems. Founded in 1975, The Youth Advocate Programs offers community-based services in family homes and neighborhood settings. The organization is a contracted provider of consulting and training services in Hawaii. It provides programs for pre- and post-adjudicated children and youths. With a presence in Lancaster, Pa., Youth Advocate Programs also offers behavioral health, advocacy and homebuilders programs.
