David and Bethany launched B's Salty & Sweet at farmers markets during the spring of 2019 and opened their permanent bakery location in June of 2020. David has baked professionally for five years, starting in San Francisco and LA, and ran his own top-rated bakery in Antigua, Guatemala. Bethany had a successful granola business in Louisiana for seven years before she headed to Guatemala, where she began working at David's bakery. B's Salty & Sweet focuses on the highest-quality baked goods. Everything is made from scratch, including the crackers and granolas. The bakery is known for its traditional sourdough bread, pop tarts, croissants, cookies, and simple-but-decadent cakes. There is a daily lunch menu, with a rotating selection of soups, sandwiches, salads, ethnic cuisine, rice and noodle bowls, and more. Breakfast is offered five days a week (Tuesday to Saturday), and there is also a fully stocked Grab & Go fridge, filled with salads, salad dressings, hummus, and more.
