Hussian College, originally founded in 1946 by respected art community member John Hussian in Philadelphia, offered a diverse curriculum encompassing both Commercial and Fine Arts. Over the years, the institution expanded its programs to include digital media courses and technology, eventually transitioning to offer Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees and branching out to Los Angeles, California.
In 2018, Hussian College merged with Daymar College campuses in multiple states, adding over 20 new degree and credential programs. Despite its growth and achievements, the college made the difficult decision to permanently close in June 2023, citing various factors including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the higher education industry.
