Established in 1958, The Ensworth School offers a variety of educational and co-curricular programs to students. The school has an enrollment of more than 500 students in prekindergarten through grade eight. The school s curriculum includes language arts, math, science, American and world history, and physical and health education. It also offers other subjects, including fine and performing arts, reading, writing and computer application. The school organizes summer camps that offer programs, such as knitting, writing, rafting, kayaking, soccer, wrestling and basketball. Its library has a collection of more than 20,000 books. The school is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and Southern Association of Independent Schools. It is located in Nashville, Tenn.
