Maycreate
Strategist. Entrepreneur. Savvy businessman. Creative guy. Brand designer. Brand builder. Motorcycle enthusiast. A talented guy who's as comfortable with the C-suite as he is with the working suite. An avid reader with an impressive library, who also learns by listening - listening to clients, listening to consumers and listening to the team that surrounds him. Brian is Maycreate's center and through his leadership the agency continues to evolve with our ever-changing industry and marketplace. Besides the industry publications, there's always a copy of Forbes or Fortune not far away. Prior to beginning Maycreate Idea Group in 2001,, Brian sat on the Executive Council of a $4.8 billion dollar corporation, where he served as the Chief Branding Officer. He became familiar with almost any and every kind of business and some of the most unusual brands in his entire marketing and advertising career - a valuable asset for clients and Maycreate alike. As president and creative director of Maycreate with 19+ years of experience, he's worked on many of the world's most recognized brands, like Black and Decker, US Cellular, Sprint, Volvo and Hardee's. His work has been featured in Graphis, Print, Communication Arts and Graphic Design USA and has been honored with Tellys, ADDYs, Webby's and more. Brian and the group have worked on ad campaigns, interactive, package and environmental design solutions for clients in Portland, Boston, D.C., Atlanta, Orlando, New York and other cities. He also serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations, as well as the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce. In short, he never runs out of things to do. Our vicious guard dog keeps an eye on Monty. He also comes up with occasional headlines when Monty gets stuck. Born in Indiana, Glen studied to be a doctor, but three years of Pre-Med was all he could take and he decided to change directions. He switched his program of study to Computer Science. He likes puzzles, the more complex the better. And building a Web site is a very complex puzzle. When you ask Glen what he does, he puts it this way, "I'm an architect, a linguist, a scientist all rolled up into one. I marry the aesthetic design to the technical application." That's poetry. Not many people can do what Glen does. He was building HTML-based Web sites by hand with the advent of the World Wide Web. Glen has worked with a number of successful start-ups, including Smart Furniture. He built their entire technological infrastructure. Besides a love for all things technical, he also loves to travel. He's been to 47 states, still not sure how he missed Vermont. He also has a private pilot's license and competed in the American Dart Association's National Championship and finished third in the country for the Team Steel Tip Neutralizer. The WHAT, Glen? You guessed it, Glen is Maycreate's I.T. Director and a real mechanical genius as well. So beyond HTML, CSS and server side programming, he's equally at home with a 2-cycle, single cylinder Briggs and Stratton. Client wise, he's worked in the financial, real estate, healthcare and retail categories, but the most satisfying for him has been the non-profit category. The reasons? Trust.and the freedom to do what we do. And that about says it all. A recent college graduate, who just earned his BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga ( UTC ). Nick decided it was time he put all that knowledge and talent to work and we couldn't agree more. Like all creatives, Nick has an interesting background. it all began with a skateboard. As a matter of fact, he used to compete up and down the east coast. His specialty was Bomb Drops, meaning he jumped off incredibly high obstacles while throwing his board under his feet and riding away smooth - once he touched down. After that, designing a great ad should be a walk in the park. Nick also plays in multiple bands and plays multiple instruments, guitar, drums and keyboard among them.He says it's a
