The South Asian American restaurant has appeared on Bon Appetit’s Hot 10 list of America’s best new restaurants, as well as Thrillist’s list of 12 Best New Restaurants in America. Vivek Surti, a James Beard Foundation 2020 semifinalist for Best Chef in the Southeast, honors his heritage through the South Asian American cuisine that is representative of Surti being a first generation American of Indian descent.
