History
From the outset, the board members of the Animal Alliance knew that what they wanted was a low cost spay and neuter clinic. It was impossible at first, of course, because the organization started with a dream but no money. So, many bike rides, garage sales, bake sales, and generous contributions from animal lovers later, a building was found and purchased. For many years the building had been the veterinary office of Dr. Joseph Robisheaux, and was put up for sale after his retirement. Much work needed to be done to renovate it for use as a spay and neuter clinic, so the fund raising efforts continued with renewed intensity. All equipment is state of the art. As word of the low cost spay and neuter clinic grew, so did its business until finally the clinic has outgrown the current location. A new site has been located, and we have broken ground on our new clinic.
