Bethesda Lutheran Homes and Services is a nonprofit organization that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities at homes and organization-owned facilities. Founded in 1904, it is a recognized service organization of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The organization offers a range of case management, community living, day and short-term care, and home and community-based services. Bethesda Lutheran Homes and Services also maintains an intermediate care facility that provides various services. Its staff includes social workers, psychologists, nurses, physicians, and physical, occupational and speech therapists. Headquartered in Watertown, Wis., the organization serves the regions of Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri and Texas.
