Opened in 1975, Dallas West Branch Library offers a variety of books, magazines, newspapers, statistics, databases and tabloids for children, teenagers and adults. It strives to inform, entertain, enrich and to foster the self-learning process by facilitating access to its collections, services and facilities to the members of the community. The library also offers classes in the English as a Second Language (ESL) program and General Equivalency Diploma (GED), as well as computer applications. Dallas West Branch Library additionally provides offers story times for toddlers and several programs for children and adults throughout the year. Located in Dallas, it supports a range of book clubs that includes Book Discussion Group, Mystery Book Club, Nonfiction Reading Group, Read N Discuss and Circle of Friends Book Club.
