HistoryThe Collin County Association of REALTORS has a detailed history that dates back to Sept. 18, 1957, when the first meeting of the Collin County Real Estate Licensees was held in Plano, Texas. The Association received its official charter in November 1958, and was known at the time as the Collin County Real Estate Board. In 1973, the Board opened its first official office in the Chaddick Building in Plano, and in 1976 moved to 19th Street. Over the years, the name of the Association has changed, as well as its location offices. What hasn't changed is that CCAR continues to offer stellar customer service to its ever-growing membership base.SpecialtiesThe Collin County Association of REALTORS is the source for professional and reliable real estate information in North Texas. Affiliated with the Texas Association of REALTORS and the National Association of REALTORS, CCAR works to provide its members with the tools they need to remain successful.
