HistoryEstablished in 2014 by Michael Garrett, Trusted World has become a reliable resource for social workers, school counselors, first responders, veterans resource centers, transitional housing to address the critical issue of situational poverty by providing the essential items individuals need to live, work and play. Today, Trusted World is leading the fight against situational poverty as one of the top resource/distribution centers for clothing food and personal care items in North Texas. Trusted World distributes to over 3,000 unduplicated individuals annually through a network of more than 324 partner agencies. Poverty continues to be a growing problem across North Texas. In 2018, according to poverty.org, Dallas County has 423,899 and Collin County had 61,635 people living in poverty.
