History
Beginning in the late spring of 2015, Dark Mountain Games was created to share our family's love of gaming with others, and to get more people involved. We began selling products at the Springfield Farmers Market, and thought that it was even more important to provide space for customers and friends to play games. For us, and many others, tabletop gaming is not only immense fun, but a great means of social interactions capable of forging friendships that last forever, (unless you are playing Diplomacy). Our contribution to the Farmers Market was a resounding success, and with support from returning customers to recurring players and friends, we were able to find a store front located at 18 Valley Street to provide a constant location for people to join us. As people became aware that we had set up shop, we began to see that this space was just not going to be big enough and in April of 2016 we looked at a space that had opened up on Main Street.
