Centers for Independence is an independent living center for people with disabilities and senior citizens. It is funded by a grant from the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) and the U.S. Department of Education.
The center specializes in helping individuals with disabilities to fully access and participate in their community. The goal of this center is to make sure that people with disabilities have the resources and choice to live independently. Some of the services offered by the center are peer support, independent living skills training, support groups and social activities and events.
