The NW Institute of Vedic Sciences was founded by director Dennis Flaherty, an internationally acclaimed vedic astrologer who's experience dates back to the 1980s. Flaherty is a long-standing member of the astrological community in the Seattle area. At the Institute of Vedic Sciences, he teaches a curriculum in Jyotish and mentors students in vedic astrology. He is one of the few westerners experienced in both western and vedic astrology, which comes from India. Flaherty also provides astrological readings including personal birth charts, yearly forecasts, relationship compatibility and astro-location.
