We feel success can only be achieved by developing long-term relationships between the manufacturer, the rep and the account. These partnerships are the cornerstone of our approach to business. Each of our offices in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois are staffed by experienced and professional sales assistants. Each of them is a "partner" with us in the support of all activities at our accounts, and with our manufacturers. We have computerized order entry and follow-up. An order can be received Northern Group either by mail, facsimile, or via EDI on our computer ( and simultaneously to our factory ). In any event, the order is copied and then forwarded in the appropriate manner to the manufacturer, after having been reviewed by the appropriate sales person if necessary. If the order is special in some way ( new store, ad order, or other promotional order ), it is automatically placed in a file with our assistants, to be followed up on at a predetermined time prior to the ship date. Each of our assistants has personal relationships with the customer service departments at our manufacturers. Through these relationships we communicate directly with our retailers by voice, fax or E-mail, to assure prompt shipment of all orders and to solve any problems as they arise. We are committed to devoting all necessary resources in order to maintain the highest level of service to our vendor and retail partners. Thus, we will always stay on the cutting edge of technology, and increase support staff as needed to maintain the high level of service we, and our partners, expect.
