Crime Stoppers is a community program supported by donation of money, goods or services. Contributions are from individuals, private sources, corporations, clubs, professional associations, retailers, civic and social groups. These contributions allow the Central Wyoming Crime Stoppers program to be effective in providing the community with information, where by the community can participate in solving crimes.Crime Stoppers is a volunteer organization built around the community. It involves a partnership of the media, citizens and law enforcement in an effort to eliminate crime. The media broadcasts crime reports, then we look to the community to supply information that can help solve the crime. Crime Stoppers then presents the information to the Police department.Crime Stoppers is governed by a voluntary board of citizens. Through donations, Crime Stoppers is able to pay rewards for tips received which result in arrests. We are not funded by the government and depend on contributions to fight crime and make our community a safer and better place to live and raise our familiesCrime Stoppers does not want your name. We just want your information about the crime. Even seemingly useless information can make a difference. Many small pieces of information put together can solve a crime. Together we can make a difference!
