History
Treasures 4 Teachers (T4T) was started in the garage of director Barbara Blalock's home after she saw a need in schools to provide materials like pencils to students. Many educators spend money out of pocket each year to provide school supplies to students whose families cannot afford them. Working on small, often under-paid salaries, this puts strain on many teachers. T4T works to relieve some of the financial stress by getting needed supplies to them for pennies on the dollar and often times for free. T4T was recently able to move into a large warehouse where we have been able to triple the amount of items offered in every section of our shopping areas. As always members of the community have been amazing in stepping up to support education by continuing to support T4T with items teachers need and financial donations.
